Job Summary
Review and process submittals, evaluate contractor schedule submissions, monitor construction work, and review requisitions for payment while evaluating change order proposals. Manage small projects as assigned by the Project Manager for a manufacturing facility in southeastern South Carolina. Requires at least five years of Project Engineer experience, including work on large, complicated building projects and manufacturing facility construction or renovation. Candidates must possess a degree in architecture or engineering and demonstrate proficiency in construction management, estimating, and scheduling software.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years' experience as a Project Engineer
- Experience as a Project Engineer on large, complicated building projects
- Experience on at least one project involving the construction or renovation of a manufacturing facility
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience utilizing construction management, estimating, and scheduling software
- degree in architecture or engineering
