Job Summary

Project Engineer for Keeley Construction’s Civil Texas Group in Fort Worth, responsible for coordinating project teams, bid solicitation and estimates, safety compliance, preparing submittal/RFI logs, documenting and communicating scope changes and project impacts, coordinating change proposals, participating in construction meetings with subcontractors, designers, and owners, planning and preparing detailed project schedules up to three months in advance, shadowing Superintendents and Project Managers to learn role expectations, reading/interpreting project plans, and handling administrative processes such as permits, contractual obligations (submittals, insurance, bonds, billing, closeout), timekeeping, progress reporting, accounts payable, subcontract management, and change orders; willing to travel and complete pre-employment assessment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of six months of applicable internship experience in the construction industry or equivalent work experience
  • Must be willing to travel
  • All candidates agree to complete an assessment for selection and pre-employment drug screen
