Job Summary
Oversee construction projects from conception to completion by observing site work, reviewing documents, and communicating with clients, contractors, and internal staff. Perform engineering calculations for project analysis and design, utilizing GIS, BIM, and other digital tools to support specific project aspects. Assist in creating cost estimates, instruct technicians on drafting, and conduct field investigations ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment. Maintain professional relationships to build ongoing business connections while ensuring projects meet contractual requirements. Requires a Professional Engineering License and four years of post-graduate experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field
- Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience
- Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering
- Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others
- Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues
- Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Professional Engineering License Required
