Job Summary
Project Engineer to support commercial landscape construction, primarily in-office, by keeping projects organized, on schedule, and on budget. Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, Designers, and Foremen; review contracts and project plans to support material ordering and scheduling; prepare work orders, change orders, project documentation, and field paperwork; monitor job costs and assist with project financial reporting; coordinate equipment and material deliveries; manage submittals and assist with as-built documentation; support warranty claims and project closeout activities; create reports and assist with final job cost analysis; communicate proactively with clients, vendors, and team members; identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency; participate in winter snow operations as needed; opportunities for advancement to a Project Manager or similar role within approximately 2–3 years.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of landscape construction or related construction experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and take initiative
- Comfortable working in an office environment while collaborating with field operations
- Eager to learn new software
