Job Summary
The Project Engineer will oversee the pricing of change orders, manage Requests for Information (RFIs), and review shop drawings while ensuring seamless coordination between sub-trades, suppliers, and project teams. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent, developing cost-effective strategies, preparing project schedules, maintaining and adjusting project budgets, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Coordinator/Engineer or in similar roles within large industrial/nuclear projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Capability to foresee and solve challenges proactively
- Proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- P.Eng designation is an asset
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
