Job Summary

Lead a multi-discipline team from contract award through final customer delivery, managing a 35,000-pound simulator on a 6-degree-of-freedom motion platform. Act as the Business Owner for the SAFe lifecycle, defining Features/Epics for Program Increments and coordinating software releases via SCCB reviews. Serve as the focal point for all customer technical matters regarding hardware and software, creating and reviewing technical documents while adapting plans to handle disruptions. Deliver presentations to customers and suppliers, ensuring progress aligns with program schedules and program needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Aeronautics, or similar)
  • 5+ years' work experience
  • U.S. citizen
  • Eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance
  • Must be able to travel within the United States or to international destinations
  • Must be able to climb stairs on a regular basis

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading hardware and/or software development or acquisition projects
  • Flight simulation experience with detailed knowledge of flight simulator hardware and software technology
  • Demonstrable ability to create and understand technical documents related to aircraft, computers, electronics, and flight simulation technology
  • Familiarity with program management and business productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, JIRA and Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Visual Studio, Docker and Hypervisors (Hyper-V, VMWare)
  • Familiarity with hardware engineering tools such as Windchill PLM, Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.
