Project Engineer - Buildings (Industrial / Water Infrastructure)

Job Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will lead building and civil scopes on a large-scale industrial wastewater treatment project, providing field engineering support, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and consultants, managing submittals, RFIs, and material procurement. Responsibilities include performing quantity takeoffs, maintaining contracts with subcontractors, participating in subcontractor submittal reviews, assisting with site inspection, and identifying potential project risks. The role requires solid construction management skills, a degree in a relevant field, and experience in an operational construction role.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 4–6 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
- Ability to apply basic engineering/problem-solving principles to construction challenges.
- Proven flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to formulate subcontracts and administer subcontracts and contract documents.

- Proven understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and internal operational systems
