Job Summary
Manage project takeoffs and documentation, prepare proposals, and obtain supplier quotes. Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and quality control personnel while tracking quantities, analyzing production, and preparing billing units. Handle resource allocation, estimating, and material pricing. Requires reading blueprints, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel. Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel or relocate for heavy civil and geotechnical projects. This safety-sensitive federal contractor role involves working at heights and around heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (particularly Excel).
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to new challenges.
- Must be willing and able to travel or relocate as necessary for projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, which may include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management or the equivalent experience in the construction industry.
- 0-3 years' experience of Project Engineering
