Job Summary
Manage moderate to highly complex geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects by providing technical expertise to exceed client expectations. Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships through meetings, lead a technical project team, and prepare proposals for complex projects. Direct project scopes, schedules, and budgets while performing engineering analysis. Mentor junior engineering staff and ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies. Key skills include strong attention to detail, organizational ability, leadership, problem-solving, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required
- Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optional
- Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
- Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
