Job Summary

Lead and support execution of an S&T portfolio within the AMPT Tech Base as a Sub Portfolio Lead for assigned efforts. Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure alignment with technical scope, schedule, and performance objectives, while tracking portfolio status including technical progress, milestones, deliverables, risks, and execution health. Collaborate with technical teams, program leadership, and stakeholders to align execution with business and mission priorities, and support proposal response development by coordinating technical inputs and execution planning. Request and coordinate required personnel, facilities, test assets, and other execution resources. Prepare portfolio briefings, reports, and decision-support materials for leadership and stakeholders, and support technology maturation, road mapping, and transition planning from concept development through application. Promote cross-functional communication, innovation, and continuous improvement across the portfolio. This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Berkeley, MO Tech Base with up to 10% travel. Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Experience in project engineering, technical project coordination, R&D, or science and technology program support
  • Experience coordinating tasks, schedules, deliverables, and technical inputs across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience tracking project or portfolio status, including milestones, risks, and execution priorities
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting science and technology portfolio management or technical project leadership in aerospace, defense, or another complex technical environment
  • Experience with proposal response development and execution planning
  • Familiarity with resource coordination, including personnel, facilities, test assets, or other execution needs
  • Experience in preparing leadership-level briefings, status reports, or decision-support materials
  • Knowledge of technology maturation, transition planning, or TRL-based development
  • Demonstrated ability to drive actions across diverse technical teams
  • Advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline
  • Familiarity with advanced materials, platform technologies, or related technology development areas
  • Knowledge or working with materials and product design related to electromagnetics or electro physics
