Project Engineer

Project Engineer role with Big-D Construction in St. Paul, MN. Key responsibilities include receiving/reviewing submittals, writing/tracking RFIs and processing or assisting in change orders, preparing and maintaining meeting agendas and minutes, maintaining construction drawings and providing marketing assistance as required, assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with subcontract and schedule administration, keeping drawings and as-builts up to date, managing procurement tracking logs, ensuring timely submittals and responses, documenting project activity in writing and photos, handling inspection/test reports for QA/QC, participating in the job closeout, and monitoring safety standards and project costs. Requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management (or related field) and 2–4 years of related industrial construction experience; salary range $65,000–$80,000; offers health insurance, HSA contributions, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, PTO, and holidays.
