Job Summary
On-site Project Engineer supporting project managers on large-scale mechanical construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. You’ll assist in maintaining project documentation (RFIs, submittals, specification reviews, subcontracts, change orders, logs), help develop and update the project schedule including labor projections and equipment lead times, support job cost control and billing, participate in site safety planning and hazard analyses, assist with QA/QC, coordinate BIM/CADD activities, and engage with customers and subcontractors. Requirements include a degree in Construction Management (or 10+ years of increasing responsibility in mechanical construction in lieu of degree), strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Construction Management
- 3–5 years of construction experience OR 10+ years of increasing responsibility in mechanical construction (in lieu of degree)
- Strong interpersonal skills (interfacing with owners, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams)
- Advanced tech skills: Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
