Job Summary
Manage engineering projects from concept through production launch, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing. Develop detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks while applying design for manufacturability principles to optimize assembly. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to lead design reviews and resolve design or manufacturing issues throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct engineering analysis involving tolerance stack-ups, FEA, and material selection to ensure product performance and reliability. Prepare comprehensive project documentation including specifications, reports, and timelines. Work in an office and manufacturing environment, potentially after hours to meet production demands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks, with strong skills in 3D modeling and 2D drafting
- Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion in an engineering environment
- In-depth knowledge of firearms design and functionality
- Strong understanding of DFM principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Effective communication skills for technical discussions and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or crouch
- On-Site - May be required to work after-hours as needed to meet production demands

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with suppressor design and development
