Job Summary
Project Engineer role focused on planning and delivering capital projects up to £1-2M in a hybrid-working setup. Responsible for full project lifecycle from design and procurement through site construction, commissioning and handover, with CDM compliance oversight and coordination of stakeholders including customers, suppliers, designers, subcontractors and operators. Requires independently managing design & build projects, cost/control accuracy, and the ability to travel within the UK (Anglian region preferred). Strong engineering background in water/wastewater, with sound judgement, proactive approach, and excellent communication/organization skills. Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH health and safety knowledge, and experience managing on-site construction teams.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- Experience in delivering engineering projects
- CDM management experience
- Proven ability to manage design & build projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK
