Job Summary
Project Engineer responsible for delivering Anglian Water IOS Alliance projects across the East Anglia region, focusing on whole-life cost and business risk reduction while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Key duties include supporting the Operational/Project Delivery Manager, assessing solutions, performing root-cause analysis, aligning with governance, design and CDM requirements, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance, and capturing assets/costs in corporate systems. Requires an engineering degree or equivalent, experience in capital delivery in the water sector, and strong stakeholder communication. Preferable PMQ/PRINCE2 and NEBOSH qualifications; travel within the East Anglia area is implied.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- APM Project Management (PMQ) or PRINCE2 (preferable)
- NEBOSH or NEBOSH Construction Temporary Works Coordinator (preferable)
- Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
- CDM knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
