Job Summary
Engage in safety training and participate in the TRACK process while attending daily meetings, weekly reviews, and field inspections. Initiate and maintain relationships with craft personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and the project management team to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and material lead times. Provide accurate information to agencies and communicate clearly when investigating issues and proposing solutions. Beat the estimated budget by tracking quantities, updating forecasts, reviewing invoices, and paying subcontractors and vendors timely. Gather documentation for change orders and requisitions while producing safe, efficient engineering products. Navigate active job sites with uneven terrain, lifting materials up to 50 pounds, and work in elevated or confined areas. Monitor communications for time-sensitive matters and respond to emergencies as required.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline; or similar field or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working on commercial or heavy civil construction projects from start to finish
- High degree of initiative, independence, personal responsibility, and integrity
