Job Summary
The Project Engineer role focuses on supporting large data center projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, requiring development and management of project plans and schedules. Ideal candidates will contribute to innovative Offsite Manufacturing and have experience in construction or manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Excel, and scheduling tools (P6 or MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction processes including steel, heavy equipment, and general sequencing.
- Limited understanding of construction sequencing or shop drawings.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics.
- Experience working with a major mechanical subcontractor, especially in HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.
Additional Requirements
- Less than 2 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
- No experience with HVAC systems or mechanical subcontractors.
- Lack of financial oversight experience (budgeting, estimating, change orders, cost tracking).
- No proficiency in scheduling tools like P6 or MS Project.
