Job Summary
Project Engineer at ABB Marine & Ports in Singapore. Leads as a design authority for an engineering discipline on small projects or portions of larger projects, performing on-site engineering assignments, participating in project meetings, and resolving technical issues to meet contractual obligations. Provides support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities; assists in preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects; applies standard design verification techniques per applicable standards; supports technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions. Requires ~5 years of project engineering experience, a degree in Engineering or related field, strong English communication, and a work permit in Singapore. The role is onsite in Singapore as part of ABB’s Marine software and electrical systems solutions for vessel and terminal operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or another related field
- Around 5 years of experience in project engineering
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge in Drives and Power System
- Adaptability to changing requirements and unexpected challenges in the project
- English communication with high collaboration skills
- Work permit in Singapore
