Job Summary
Create mechanical designs for IEC LV motors using 3D modeling, detailing, and GD&T while preparing BOMs in SAP. Ensure all outputs meet IS, IEC, NEMA, ANSI, and IEEE standards, and perform tolerance and stress analysis for new product introductions. Address manufacturing concerns regarding designs and bill of materials, providing feedback to project managers to satisfy customer needs. Utilize advanced techniques to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction within the Faridabad, India-based Motion business division.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BTECH Mechanical Engineering only
- 4 to 6 years of experience
- preferably in LV Motors
- Induction Motors Design
- Experience with PLM software - Teamcenter
- Experience with 3D design including use of NX, Solid works, or equivalent design platforms
- Familiar and have practical experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and other applicable software
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated
- high level of creativity
- knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for motors & generators
