Job Summary

Lead and execute all aspects of capital projects from concept through validation, including planning, design, specification, cost estimation, installation, and commissioning. Develop and implement state-of-the-art processes and technologies to improve quality, productivity, and safety while reducing costs. Execute engineering projects with unique problems affecting major company initiatives and independently make decisions on engineering methods and customer discussions. Write SOPs, qualification protocols, and technical reports; interface with external contractors, vendors, and design firms. Collaborate on new product development, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel throughout manufacturing areas and to customer/vendor facilities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Communicate fluently in English
  • Tolerate odors and noise associated with manufacturing operations
  • Travel throughout the manufacturing areas, buildings and campus to allow personal observations of equipment and facilities associated with responsibilities
  • Travel to customer and vendor facilities as required
  • Accommodate a flexible work schedule
  • Computer literate
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Auto Cad
  • Mixing, coating, drying, web handling, or slitting operations and equipment experience
  • GMP experience
  • Product development and technology transfer experience
  • Environmental, zoning, and safety regulation experience

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP certification
