Project Engineer 2 - Self-Perform

The Project Engineer 2 will complete and support routine construction and field execution responsibilities for construction projects utilizing construction fundamentals and company best practice standards, processes, resources and tools. This position will be responsible for participating in many facets of the construction process, such as general construction management, punch lists and executing self-perform work, in order to understand the building process and how JE Dunn executes projects. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. In addition, the role participates in implementing project safety plans, supports the preparation of estimates and schedules, pre-plans crew activities, coordinates with internal project support functions, manages subcontractor scope of work, and supports QA/QC planning, documentation, and reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent relevant experience) and 2+ years of construction experience; travel and non-traditional hours may be required; proficiency in MS Office and CMiC is beneficial; strong communication, teamwork, and Lean knowledge are important for success.
