Job Summary
Full-time Project Engineer at NCDMM in Columbus, OH, responsible for coordinating and executing multiple technical projects for DoD customers within defined scopes and budgets. Develop statements of work, cost proposals, and project timelines for new opportunities; manage project budgets up to $1.0M; expand customer and partner networks; maintain high-quality project reporting and compliance; travel less than 30%; collaborate with management, other engineers, technicians, and customers to ensure successful outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering or related engineering technical area OR an associate degree with 15 years relevant experience
- Has 3-5 years leading and managing projects
- Experience in manufacturing environments and DoD projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project
- Ability to develop statements of work and cost proposals
- Project budget management experience up to $1.0M
- Travel (<30%)
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- E-Verify compliance for work eligibility in the United States
