Project Engagement and Communications Specialist

Project Engagement and Communications Specialist will contribute to shaping how Western Australia understands its energy future by delivering integrated communications and engagement across major infrastructure projects. You will develop clear communication materials, translate complex project information into accessible messaging, support communication plans aligned to milestones, manage stakeholder communications, prepare briefing materials for internal leaders and external stakeholders, coordinate digital and traditional communications deliverables, support engagement activities and forums, maintain engagement records, build relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders, and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement of communication outcomes. A tertiary qualification in Communications, Social Planning and Sciences, Marketing, or related discipline is required, along with experience in creating project communication tools and demonstrated experience in communication, community engagement, and stakeholder management. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, the ability to prioritise work, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines are essential.
