Job Summary
Serve as the nightly liaison in the Broadcasting Operations Center for real-time production, programming, operations, and content updates. Write telecast reports for national TV games recapping broadcast elements including sales/marketing initiatives, announcer comments, and production quality. Evaluate diverse broadcast productions for innovative content and develop ideas for NBA broadcast content projects. Review local NBA/WNBA/G League broadcasts for best practices highlighting storytelling, new technology, and key production elements. Work with broadcast partners on game/event production, best practices, and ancillary programming content, including potential onsite support. Provide day-to-day support using the digital NBA Content Archive by clipping and distributing real-time links and updates.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of NBA, WNBA, NBA G-League, and NBA 2K (Players, coaches, and teams)
- Strong writing skills
- Microsoft Office expertise
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of television industry/social media and streaming landscape
- Background in sports and/or television/broadcasting
