Job Summary
Execute the firm's strategic plan for the Healthcare market by leveraging cross-program experience and providing subject matter expertise. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project delivery teams while supporting succession planning and talent acquisition. Build relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners to drive major pursuits and proposals, serving as a trusted advisor on facility design and operational efficiency. Oversee key projects to ensure quality, profitability, and client satisfaction while navigating complex technical and operational challenges. Own performance across backlog, revenue, and operating margin, meeting KPIs for utilization, project profitability, and bookings. Collaborate across Southern California offices and represent the firm at industry events. Requires 8–10 years of Healthcare project delivery experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and a PE license in California is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience delivering Healthcare projects, which may include other experience, with at least 3 years in a project delivery management role
- Demonstrated experience leading project delivery teams, with accountability for client development and overall performance
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects
- Strong understanding of the Southern California Healthcare market, client delivery models, and permitting/regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated success in client management with Healthcare owners/operators, developers, and contractors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and results oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment
- Willingness to travel as needed to support projects, client engagements, and coordination with other offices
- Able to work cooperatively with leadership and other key stakeholders within BKF
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required
Desired Qualifications
- PE license in California is preferred
