Job Summary

Manage multiple large-scale restoration and construction projects from initiation to completion, directing lead technicians and superintendents via work orders. Develop estimates for mitigation projects, conduct thorough site inspections to determine damages, and prepare bids for adjusters and customers. Review and approve time and material billing to ensure accurate cost capture, while maintaining business contacts to source new work. Prepare detailed work orders for scheduling and disseminate them to responsible parties, tracking project plans to meet contract deadlines. Communicate frequently with adjusters, clients, and contractors, and market company services to generate business. Adhere to all safety regulations, wear required PPE, and operate machinery as needed. Requires a valid driver's license, experience in commercial mitigation, and proficiency with Xactimate.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with driving record in good standing
  • Proven experience in ability to manage large projects in commercial mitigation and construction
  • Extensive knowledge in construction estimating
  • Well versed in time & material billing concepts
  • Experience in marketing services for purpose of generating new or existing business
  • Thorough knowledge of basic safety standards and work practices
  • Experience in leading crews, delegating, communicating effectively at all levels
  • strong leadership skills
  • Possesses excellent time management skills
  • Ability to generate reports using Microsoft Suite products, Xactimate required
  • Understands basics of cost containment and risk management
  • Applies good judgement in making important decisions under pressure
  • Experience in effective communications, coaching and training
  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to perform tasks that require, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, climb, squat, crawl, lift above shoulder, reach, and twist
  • Prolonged sitting or standing required (in office, driving and/or at job sites). Regular alternating between sitting and standing
  • Continuous repetitive motion and tasks involving L/R hand movement (computer/mouse), wrists, or arms (e.g., typing, data entry)
  • Capacity to operate machinery and tools as required by job tasks, which may involve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • requirement for clear vision (e.g., close work, computer use, eye hand coordination)
  • Work after hours and weekends given our 24/7 business operations
  • May include travel to and from job sites, requiring the use of company and/or personal vehicles. Possibility of attending out-of-town trainings, meetings, or conferences

Desired Qualifications

  • Industry related certification, desirable
  • Completion or in the process of completing IICRC Training
  • OSHA 10 certification, desirable
