Job Summary
Project Director, GCM at DSV Contract Logistics will plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of projects related to new business implementation and other initiatives for a designated GCM client globally. Responsible for strategic project planning with GCM leadership, building a reusable project playbook, defining tasks and owners, and training/mentoring local Project Managers. Lead risk mitigation and ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery; manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications; facilitate steering committee updates; drive standardization of project delivery; and serve as SME for project processes and tools, including facilitating cross-functional workstreams and coordinating with clients and contractors. Requires extensive project and logistics management experience, strong communication, and travel readiness. Base pay range is $135,000–$150,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree is basic requirement (Management, Engineering, Operations Preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience with leadership of Project Management staff
- Minimum of 10 years’ Logistics/Warehousing Industry experience
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project & Visio; AutoCAD is a plus; Warehouse Management System(s)
- Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal), Spanish a plus
- Interpersonal communication and language skills (e.g., listening to others, speaking to others, reading, writing)
- Other Skills: E-commerce experience including starting up small to large volume solutions

- Must be able to travel by plane and automobile
