Job Summary
Provide peak leadership to a large multi-discipline technical team delivering design and engineering services for major civil infrastructure projects. Act as the ultimate interface between the Project Team and the Client, managing senior-level relationships to ensure expectations are defined and delivered. Develop and manage the Project Programme while ensuring effective financial and project management controls are in place. Continuously enhance productivity through improved processes and maintain an overview of commercial aspects including contract and invoicing. Direct the assessment, selection, and management of suppliers, sub-consultants, and contractors. Ensure completed engineering work is reviewed for technical and client compliance while proactively identifying and managing risks. Review team member performance, develop them to their full potential, and manage health and safety, wellbeing, and personal development.
Required Qualifications
- First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life
- Relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Approximately 20+ years industry experience
- Industry leader in leading multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure projects within a design and engineering consultancy environment
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure projects
- Well-developed technical and commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry and a demonstrated ability in securing opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to build credible, collaborative but influential relationships both internally and externally
- Previous demonstrated experience in managing large project teams
- Strong industry profile and networks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the successful delivery of ports projects will be an advantage but is not essential
