Job Summary

Project Director responsible for overall project leadership for assigned jobs, overseeing setup, buyout, contract execution and compliance, procurement of materials/equipment, daily progress tracking, safety compliance, invoicing, manpower scheduling, scheduling updates, cost reporting and coordination with the GC and CSI Operations management; requires 10+ years of construction experience, strong scheduling and budget/cost reporting capabilities, and proven leadership of project teams, including self-perform concrete projects. Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
  • Experience running large self-perform concrete projects with successful outcomes.
  • Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
  • Exceptional understanding of critical path scheduling for self-perform work.
  • Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
  • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (recommended)
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and coordinate with General Contractors
  • Experience with self-perform concrete projects
  • Expertise in project setup, budgeting, buyout, and cost reporting
  • Experience with critical path scheduling for self-perform work
  • Excellent problem-solving, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to walk job sites and work in a construction environment
  • Commitment to safety and compliance
