Job Summary
Lead major data centre developments across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through construction to operational handover. Embed a safety-first culture, championing zero harm throughout all phases. Establish governance frameworks, oversee compliance, and manage risk registers while leading project budgets, cashflow, and procurement strategies. Direct the overall development programme, optimise timelines, and drive corrective action to accelerate outcomes. Oversee design finalisation, authority approvals, and regulatory compliance, acting as the key interface for customer, internal, and external stakeholders. Mentor teams, drive accountability, and embed continuous improvement in design, programme, safety, and cost methodologies. Report to the Chief Development Officer with full accountability for successful delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years' experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects and teams in the data centre, mission-critical or highly services infrastructure sectors
- Bachelor's degree in property development, construction management, engineering, architecture, or related fields
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulatory approvals, and authority processes
