Job Summary
Provide executive-level leadership across multiple large-scale civil infrastructure projects, overseeing planning, execution, and close-out to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Drive cost control, financial forecasting, and proactive risk management strategies while leading high-level client engagement and contract negotiations. Mentor project managers, coordinators, and site teams to develop future leaders, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Deliver strategic reporting to senior company leadership. This role involves balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement for high-value projects exceeding $100M, reporting directly to the Senior Project Director and Vice President.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in civil construction, including roads, bridges, rail, large highway and municipal infrastructure
- Proven track record leading large-scale projects ($100M+) or portfolios of multiple mid-sized projects
- Strong background in cost control, budgeting, and risk management at a senior leadership level
- Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team building
- Demonstrated ability to foster strong client, stakeholder, and municipal relationships
Desired Qualifications
- P.Eng., PMP, or similar professional designation considered an asset
