Job Summary
Lead Chandos’ construction delivery for a portfolio of assigned projects, directly and through a team of project managers, accountable for full lifecycle delivery from preconstruction and bidding through construction and close-out while building client relationships, supporting business development, and developing high-performing project teams. Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction objectives and embed continuous improvement across teams. Responsibilities include team leadership and development, resource planning, preconstruction guidance, client relationship management, project execution alignment with corporate goals, contract and commercial management across delivery models (Design-Bid-Build, Construction Management, Progressive Design Build, IPD, Design-Build), scheduling and logistics, financial forecasting and reporting, risk and opportunity management, safety culture, and business development support. Travel between project sites, balance of office and site responsibilities, and fostering relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to secure repeat business and referrals.
Required Qualifications
- Fifteen (15)+ years of ICI commercial construction experience
- Ten (10)+ years of direct construction project management experience
- Proven success delivering ground-up commercial, institutional, and multi-residential projects
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent construction experience
- Knowledge of provincial building codes, local permitting processes, and safety regulations
- Valid driver’s license and ability to balance office and site responsibilities
