Job Summary
Project Director leads Chandos’ construction delivery for a portfolio of projects, guiding full lifecycle delivery from preconstruction and bidding through construction and close-out while building client relationships, supporting business development, and developing high-performing project teams. Responsibilities include leading Project Managers and staff, resource planning, bid structure and budgeting, client relationship management, execution planning, contract and commercial oversight, scheduling and logistics, financial forecasting and risk management, safety and continuous improvement, and business development support. Requires balancing office and frequent site presence, travel between project sites, and 15+ years in ICI commercial construction with a degree in a related field, plus strong leadership, negotiation, forecasting, and communication skills. Preferred certifications include Gold Seal Certification; experience with IPD, Progressive Design-Build, and Design-Build; sustainability knowledge (LEED); advanced scheduling/controls tools; and a commitment to a diverse, inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Fifteen (15)+ years of ICI commercial construction experience
- ten (10)+ years of direct construction project management experience
- degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent construction experience.
- Knowledge of provincial building codes, local permitting processes, and safety regulations.

- Gold Seal Certification (GSC)
