Job Summary
Project Director – Airport Systems Integration responsible for delivering the Master Systems Integrator (MSI) scope across Terminal and Airfield systems within a major international airport development program. Provides executive governance for systems integration, testing & commissioning, operational readiness, and phased system activation; acts as primary client liaison with stakeholders, airport operators, regulators, and contractors; leads integration assurance activities ensuring interfaces are coordinated, validated, tested, and compliant; oversees systems delivery including AODB, A-SMGCS, ALCMS, AOCC, RMS, FIDS, ATMS, CNS, ICT, security, baggage handling, and middleware; ensures regulatory, cybersecurity, and governance compliance; directs testing and commissioning strategies (factory, site, SIT/SCIT, operational validation, go-live); manages risks, dependencies, and interface issues; drives change management and governance forums; leads multidisciplinary teams and represents Parsons in executive settings. Also highlights GCC airport programme experience as desirable and emphasizes leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and excellent communication and reporting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline from a recognized university
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, INCOSE Systems Engineering, ITIL, or equivalent are desirable
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure, aviation, airport systems, or complex technology integration programmes
- Minimum 10 years of experience in major international airport programmes involving systems integration, operational technologies, or airport-wide systems delivery
- Demonstrated experience delivering airport systems programmes through testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and activation phases
