Job Summary
Director to lead the integration of Hudson Tunnel Project subsystems into Amtrak infrastructure, including development of the Rail Activation plan, interface management with the Engineer of Record, and leadership to achieve Safety & Security Certification and ultimate commissioning. Responsibilities include managing project cost and schedules, risk and change control, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Amtrak, FTA and FRA regulations, and preparing the infrastructure for operational readiness in a rail/transit environment. Requires strong systems engineering, program management, and SCADA knowledge, with experience in mega transportation programs, rail operations, and collaboration across diverse teams; on-site work and travel as part of project execution.
