Job Summary

Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones, and accountability alignment within commercial teams to accelerate deals to final investment decision. Build commercial contract and risk tracking tools to ensure deal team prioritization and visibility for key stakeholders. Escalate deal risks to appropriate leaders and manage workstreams required for mitigation. Partner with legal and business development teams to execute lease, easement, and title agreements to de-risk land control. Represent Antora to local community leaders and authorities to obtain required permits for thermal energy storage projects. Set negotiation strategy for key commercial contracts while driving community engagement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in project management
  • at least 2 years developing wind, solar, storage, renewable hydrogen, clean data center, or other large renewable power projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to advance energy deals to final investment decision and commercial contract execution
  • Proven experience in successfully mitigating deal/project risks through appropriate escalation and managing de-risking workstreams
  • Track record of building trusted relationships with project stakeholders, community leaders and decision makers at all levels, internally and externally
  • Exceptional project management abilities - establishing project plans, managing stakeholders, effective communication/presentation, de-risking and influencing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project ownership, high degrees of initiative and self-motivation, problem-solving creativity and ability to get things done well
  • Work Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise developing a variety of technologies for large energy projects
  • Experience with developing projects for first-of-a-kind (FOAK) energy projects
  • Experience in developing projects/deals with industrial manufacturers
  • Fluency in building and reviewing detailed project financial models
