Job Summary
Detail newly awarded commercial construction projects using Smartsheets and the company’s software (Comsense); prepare shop drawings and submittals, review plans/specifications, identify scope gaps, and verify code requirements. Detail opening information, review door/frame elevations and lite kit sizing, review schedules, and collaborate with contractor, architect, and project managers to ensure critical needs are met. Manage documentation, costs, quotations, and corrective actions to meet project needs; leverage experience with Detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech) and tools like Bluebeam, Excel, Word, and Outlook to support accurate submittals and customer communication.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam
- Excellent mathematical aptitude & problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
- Experience reading plans & specifications.
- Experience using industry specific Detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech)
- Familiar with Commercial Construction Industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
