Job Summary
Project Detailer for Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in Mt. Juliet, TN. Responsible for managing newly awarded project information in Smartsheets and Comsense, proactively contacting customers to gather project information, organizing missing documents (plans, specs, quotes), detailing openings and reviewing contract documents, preparing shop drawings and submittals from manufacturer catalogs, verifying code requirements, and collaborating with contractors, architects, and project managers to meet critical schedules, budgets, changes, and ensure a positive customer experience. Requires experience reading plans and specifications, familiarity with detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech), strong matemathical and data-organization skills, and excellent communication. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7am–4:30pm and Friday 7am–3:30pm; 18+ and Bachelor's degree preferred; full-time with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience reading plans & specifications
- Experience with Detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech)
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam
- Excellent oral & written communication
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Good problem-solving skills
- Team oriented and customer-service oriented
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Drug and alcohol screening required
