Job Summary
Detailing and project coordination for commercial door and hardware projects. Responsibilities include managing project information in Smartsheets and Comsense, proactively contacting customers to obtain missing information, reviewing plans/specs, detailing openings, preparing shop drawings and submittals from manufacturer catalogs, ensuring accuracy of schedules and submittals, verifying code requirements, and collaborating with contractors, architects, and project managers to meet schedules, budgets, and client needs. Requires experience reading plans and specifications, proficiency with Detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech), familiarity with the commercial construction industry, and strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
