Job Summary
Lead interior design efforts from concept through construction administration on small to mid-sized projects; drive concept development, produce high-quality design deliverables, and ensure design intent is carried through construction. Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Principals to shape innovative interior environments while managing project timelines, budgets, and team coordination. Prepare and coordinate design presentations, plans, elevations, and detailed drawings; review documents for quality, code compliance, and coordination across all project phases. Mentor junior staff (1–3 team members), assist with proposals and client presentations/interviews, and contribute to project profitability through effective resource management and cost awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in architectural or interior design
- Strong understanding of design and construction documentation processes
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
