Job Summary
Project Designer role at Genesis AEC for an entry-level to early-career designer. You’ll be mentored by subject-matter experts and contribute to architectural design processes across multiple projects. Responsibilities include developing project documents with regulatory coordination, assisting in conceptual designs and preliminary sketches, coordinating with multi-discipline teams under the project lead, learning and implementing integrated design methodologies, reviewing design outcomes for opportunities to improve productivity and outcomes, participating in department meetings to understand SME roles, reviewing shop drawings with guidance from the Project Architect, attending field site inspections and developing follow-up documentation (field reports, punchlists), researching and applying advanced software to inform and optimize architectural work, and supporting client-facing activities. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and growth, with a hybrid in-office/work-from-home schedule, potential field-based flexibility, and opportunities for professional development and licensing support.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Arch, BArch, or MArch
- 0-6 years of experience, will consider internships/co-ops
- Knowledge of Revit software is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office suite software
- A team approach and positive attitude
- Hybrid in-office and work-from-home balanced work week
