Job Summary
Project Designer responsible for creating and developing design concepts, producing 3D CAD models for acoustic-material products, drafting detailed submittal drawings from 3D models and blueprints, reading Reflected Ceiling Plans and Elevations, and collaborating with clients and project teams to meet timelines and standards. Role involves engineering 2D programs for manufacturing, revising models for new innovations, resolving product-related customer issues, supporting design processes, and ensuring timely completion of projects within company and client requirements. Requires hands-on design, 3D modeling (SolidWorks), 2D drafting (AutoCAD), ability to present technical data, and strong collaboration within a team. EEO statement included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant technical degree in 3D design
- 3+ years of 3D product design experience using Solidworks and 2D drafting experience using AutoCAD
- Certified Solidworks Associate (CSWA) or Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) is preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite is preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
