Job Summary
Design, engineer, and document medium to large-sized complex solutions according to project requirements. Guide and mentor drafters to ensure engineering drawing accuracy while monitoring resource efforts against project budgets and schedules. Collaborate with sales and project management to identify scope changes, manage customer clarifications, and support cost-effective solution scoping. Leverage expertise in AutoCAD Design Review and Bluebeam to read construction drawings and electrical layouts.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced technical skills and knowledge/expertise in AutoDesk Design Review and Bluebeam
- Strong skills in reading and understanding construction drawings, architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- High School/GED or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years AutoCAD
- NICET certification II or III, Revit, or EST
