Job Summary
The Project Designer 1 assists in project design and coordination, focusing on researching plans and specifications to meet design requirements. Responsibilities include identifying pre-fabrication opportunities, preparing layouts, coordinating with contractors, and developing project schedules. Demonstrable collaboration and communication skills are essential, alongside a Journeyman Electrician License and knowledge of electrical systems and codes. Basic computer skills and familiarity with software such as Revit and AutoCAD are required.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, appropriate codes, and industry standards
- Ability to read, interpret and understand contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements
- Knowledge of current National Electrical Codes and local/state electrical codes

- Basic understanding of electrical systems
