Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Water Management Plans (WMPs) for a major, long-running mining program, combining project leadership, technical oversight, and digital innovation. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across surface water, groundwater, geospatial, and reporting disciplines; manage design workflows; ensure WMPs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Review and update document templates and Basis of Design documentation; respond to technical queries; identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; drive automation, data management, and reporting improvements. Act as primary liaison between internal teams and the client to ensure clear communication and proactive issue resolution; support continuous improvement across workflows, communication, and delivery methods.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary design or environmental projects
- Strong understanding of hydrology, hydrogeology, or related technical fields
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in geospatial tools, with QGIS experience highly regarded
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive solutions
- Interest in digital innovation, automation, and data-driven workflows
- Ability to coordinate diverse teams across surface water, groundwater, geospatial, and reporting disciplines
- Project leadership experience and ability to manage scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables
