Project Delivery Manager - Power Generation / Engines

Job Summary

Oversee material planning and fulfillment to ensure spare parts and components are available for project installation on site. Manage inventory control, receiving, and storage at customer locations while coordinating with Project Management, Requisition Engineering, Global Supply Chain, and external packagers to maintain smooth material flow. Resolve issues related to material shortages, order discrepancies, or delays, and ensure compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and documentation. Monitor and maintain ERP system data for accurate material tracking, track and report KPIs related to material readiness and fulfillment accuracy, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and meet project timelines. This role requires approximately 90% travel to project sites in Texas or New Jersey on a ten days on/ four days off rotation, with hours aligned to project operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Prior experience in material planning, supply chain operations, inventory management, fulfillment, or logistics in a similar industry
  • Experience with engines, generators, gas compression equipment, or comparable industrial machinery used in field installation, commissioning, or maintenance environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Valid driver's license and valid passport, or willingness to obtain a passport if not currently held
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Understanding of rotating equipment fundamentals, including components, spare parts, packaging, and material requirements
  • Ability to interpret equipment documentation such as assembly drawings, parts lists, quality check sheets, and installation requirements
  • Strong understanding of how supply chain processes interconnect and impact project execution
  • Knowledge of inventory control, material planning, and fulfillment processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery of materials for project needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks, analyze supply chain workflows, and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Commitment to safety and environmental standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including effective coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work on project sites in a warehouse or office environment
  • Must have clear vision for reading and screen work
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to travel domestically for assigned projects; internationally occasionally as business demands
  • Ten (10) days on / four (4) days off rotation
  • Work hours aligned with project operations
  • Work in Texas or New Jersey

Desired Qualifications

  • Experienced with using ERP systems for material tracking and planning, Oracle desired
