Job Summary
Lead CSU activities for commissioning and startup of proposals and projects requiring high technical skill in combined cycle power generation. Provide leadership, oversight, guidance, training and mentoring to the CSU team on project procedures and CSU direction to ensure successful project execution and delivery. Responsibilities include resource planning, CSU schedule development and maintenance, CSU risk registers, preparation of operations manuals, coordination with project management, startup-related engineering, construction, and client activities, review of project designs for operability and safety, and ensuring integration of CSU with Engineering, Construction, Change Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends and Claims. Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 15-18 years of relevant experience or 19-22 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous involvement in commissioning combined cycle power projects and projects with a high degree of complexity.
- Knowledge and experience with commissioning behind the meter power generation is preferred.
- Integration of power facilities in a data center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, motivating and supporting others.
- Demonstrated understanding of CSU core processes and procedures.
- Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction functions and general business techniques.
- Excellent skill in oral and written communication with demonstrated skill to present CSU information to management and client.
- Experience in leading a team of diverse backgrounds towards a single project outcome.
