Job Summary
Project Cost Controller role in Ottawa (Hybrid) supporting project teams with cost control, budgeting, and financial management. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining budgets and Estimate At Completion, coordinating with PMO and Finance, monitoring project cash flow, forecasting and re-forecasting monthly metrics (Sales, Gross Margin, Cost Variance, Cash-in), producing dashboards/reports, and ensuring timely financial information for budgeting processes. Responsibilities also cover external reporting, billing support, and establishing global project processes. Requires Bachelor of Commerce or BA (accounting) and 1-3 years of experience, with hands-on experience in SAP, Primavera, and Excel; familiarity with foreign exchange hedging; compliance with EAR/ITAR; occasional domestic travel; and a hybrid work arrangement.,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts (major in accounting), and/or similar education and equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in large multi-national or national organizations, in the Defense & Security sector or previous experience in project cost controlling
- Knowledge and experience with SAP, Primavera and Excel
- Eligibility to access EAR/ITAR and related regulatory requirements
