Job Summary
The Project Cost Control Analyst at Crusoe Energy will manage the financial performance of hyper-scale data center projects, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Responsibilities include leading the development and maintenance of project cost budgets, conducting performance analysis on cost metrics, validating contractor billing, and preparing monthly financial close activities. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in cost control or project finance, alongside strong analytical skills and proficiency with cost control systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in cost control, project accounting, or project finance
- Specific experience within demanding EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or large-scale infrastructure environments
- Proven expertise with industry-leading cost control systems, ERP platforms (SAP), project management software (Procore), and advanced forecasting tools
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable verbal and written communication
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting hyperscale data centers or other mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Background in the oil & gas industry
- Advanced knowledge of EPC contracting models and sophisticated cost budgeting techniques
- Prior experience successfully supporting complex audits or high-value financial claims
