Job Summary
Coordinate project cost analysis and controls across multiple projects, overseeing cost reporting, budget monitoring, and variance analysis while collaborating with project teams to apply best practices. Drive process optimization by developing measurable KPIs, implementing resource/cost plans, and administering project governance standards. Manage the full work order lifecycle from creation to closeout, including unvouchered liabilities, SOX support, and estimate vs. actual reviews. Communicate budget and cost information to internal and external stakeholders, coordinate with contractors and vendors for performance data, and work independently to solve moderately complex problems using technical analytical skills. Prepare investment forecasts, cash flows, and documentation for project meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 4 years experience, or Associate's degree + 6 years experience in related fields (Accounting, Business, Construction Mgmt, Engineering, Finance, Technology, Project Mgmt)
- Experience includes utility operations, project management, cost tracking, forecasting (including accruals), budgeting, accounting principles, or construction
- Strong time management, organization, accuracy, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically excel
- Effective team collaboration
- Experience with cost management systems (Ecosys)
- Strong creativity and problem solving; ability to work across organizational levels
